Ellateq

Privacy policy

Last updated 27 September 2026

This policy explains how Ellateq collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit ellateq.com or contact us. We keep it short because we collect very little.

Who we are

Ellateq is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. Our legal details are:

Legal entity name: [to be confirmed]
Registered address: [to be confirmed]
Company registration number: [to be confirmed]
ICO registration number: [to be confirmed]

For any privacy question or request, email info@ellateq.com.

What we collect

When you contact us. If you email us or book a call, we receive the details you choose to share, usually your name, email address, company, job title and the content of your message.

When you visit the website. Our hosting and security provider automatically processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information and the pages you request. This is needed to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.

What we do not collect. This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, does not track you across other sites and does not ask for sensitive personal information.

How we use it and why

We use your contact details to reply to you, arrange and hold introductory calls, and prepare proposals you ask for. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

We use technical information to run, secure and troubleshoot the website. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and safe.

We may send you occasional updates about our services only if you have asked for them, and you can opt out at any time.

If you become a client, the personal information we handle while delivering services is governed by our client agreement and data processing terms, not this policy.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only on our instructions. These include our website hosting and security provider, our email and productivity provider, and our font provider, which receives your IP address when the page loads its typefaces.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, clients or the public.

International transfers

We work with clients and providers in several countries, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live. Where information leaves the UK or the European Economic Area, we rely on adequacy decisions or approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for up to two years after our last contact, unless it leads to a client relationship, in which case our client retention terms apply. Website security logs are kept for a short period, usually no more than 30 days, unless needed to investigate an incident.

How we protect it

Security is our business. We protect personal information with encryption in transit, strong access controls, multi factor authentication and regular review of the providers we use. No system is perfectly secure, and if a breach affected your information we would notify you and the regulator where the law requires it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, and receive a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

To make a request, email info@ellateq.com. We will respond within one month and may ask you to confirm your identity first.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, such as the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK (ico.org.uk) or the authority in the country where you live or work.

Children

Our services are for businesses and this website is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when our practices change, and the date at the top will show the latest version.
